Thanks, Lynn! I'd never heard of a cinquain until this month. It's been fun trying new forms of poetry, like this one or the one I wrote two days ago, in which the poetry prompt was to write a poem by just looking at the shapes of the words of a poem that was written in an unknown language. Keeping up with writing a poem a day is a stretch for me, especially since poetry is not my usual form of writing.
I;m just now getting around to catching up on my reading. Your poem about your occupation impressed me a lot. I especially liked your husband;s take on your occupation.
Well done Linda! I have never written in any poetic form but free verse before so this had been quite the learning experience : )
